Hand work and computer work, side by side

Hand maggam and Aari work is slow, and it looks it — raised, textured, and finished by someone who held every bead. Computer maggam with beads gives a similar look faster and lighter on the budget. We do both in our Puppalguda workshop, and will tell you honestly which suits the piece and the date.

Bring a photo of a design you like, or build one with us in the design customizer — neckline, sleeve, border and thread colours — and see it before the needle goes in.
